Central Arizona Board of Realtors, Public Awareness Campaign for Northern Gila County Water
Moses Anshell created an integrated campaign in Northern Gila County anchored by a web site designed to inform local citizens of the impending water shortage, the connection between the water shortage and decreasing property values, and that residents should support the Blue Ridge/C.C. Cragin project. With the upcoming primary elections for Mayor and three Council seats, Moses Anshell worked to ensure each winning candidate was a supporter of the C.C. Craigin project.
www.ourwaterisourfuture.com held detailed information, links, news, events and resources. It was built in less than four weeks using both flash and html. Flash brought the main header alive with animation, using overlapped images of greenery with yellow and blue "bubbles" to demonstrate visually that "You can’t have green without blue". The structure of the site is simple, with one layer of navigation allowing text to be included in the flash. Pages are dynamically loaded as they are requested through the navigation menu. From a usability standpoint, all parts of the site are reached in one click.
The average time spent on the site was a full 5 minutes. 796 sessions with 4,126 page views were achieved from January 1 to March 21, 2008. Plus, Moses Anshell hit the main goal: winning every seat in the election with a candidate who is pro-Blue Ridge/C.C. Cragin project.
