Arizona Music Project

Arizona Office of Tourism: Arizona Music Project
Selling the state through music.
Can you experience the sights and sounds of Arizona in two minutes?
Yes, and the Arizona Music Project is proof.

Moses Anshell and the Arizona Office of Tourism worked closely together on the project, molding an intriguing idea into a completed musical suite set to video. Together, the music and video showcase the state's cultural liveliness, breathtaking scenery, geographic diversity and relaxing lifestyle.

Only Arizona musicians were used and local composer Jason Camiolo wrote the music in his Phoenix studio that would serve as the backbone of the composition. To bring the piece to life, the team searched the state and used an online casting call to find qualified and interested musicians.

The result? A musical suite and video that continue to grab attention. A unique tool to quickly and effectively introduce others to Arizona. The first step by state tourism officials to tap social networking as a way to further their mission.

The completed Arizona Music Project is a suite that represents a day in the life of Arizona, a project that echoes what residents and visitors love about this state. In the end, the project also was an example about how Moses Anshell can play an instrumental role in using non-traditional approaches to advance traditional causes.
